Electrical Shop
Services Provided:
- Preventive maintenance & repairs to all campus high voltage electrical systems.
- Preventive maintenance and repairs to campus low voltage electrical systems.
- Customer Service: Restore power to tripped circuit breakers, lighting repair, and small modifications to existing electrical systems.
- Elevators: Oversee maintenance, repairs, upgrades and permitting.
- Exterior Lighting: All path lighting and street lighting, re-lamping and repairs. Weekly lighting route preventive maintenance.
- Interior Lighting: Systematic group re-lamping on a 3-4 year cycle. Weekly Preventive maintenance.
- Maintenance and Repair of lighting control panels and other electrical lighting devices.
- Energy savings: Energy savings through retrofitting fixtures with state of the art lighting systems (i.e. LED fixtures, ballasts, energy saving lamps & motion sensors).
- Emergency Generators and Related Systems Controls. Preventive Maintenance and repairs.
- Construction Interface with PP&C, Work Management and Contractors: Shutdowns, plan review and comments. Create punch list items.

When ordering equipment for campus installation please note the following available voltages in most campus buildings is:
480 volt, 3 phase / 277 volt, 1 phase
208 volt, 3 phase / 120 volt, 1 phase
